Glacier Coolant LM-15B Heat Transfer Fluid -50°C to 200°C High Temperature Thermal Oil
Main parameters
Glacier Coolant LM-15B is insoluble in water, has low freezing point, high flash point, stable chemical properties, good hydrophobicity and long service life. It has almost no adverse effects on many materials represented by metals and is suitable for long-term use in the temperature range of -50℃~200℃. At 20 ℃, the density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and specific heat of Glacier Coolant LM-15B are 0.942 g/cm3, 10.40 cP, 0.1364 W/m·K and 1.7040 kJ/kg·K, respectively. The boiling point of Glacier Coolant LM-15B is high than 200℃, and the freezing point is less than -50℃. It is suitable for water sensitive anhydrous systems.

Usage Method
Under high-temperature conditions, LM-15B is susceptible to contamination by strong acids, strong bases, certain metal compounds, and oxidants. Such pollutants may speed up the generation of volatile by-products, while oxidants can also lead to an elevation in product viscosity. When these potential conditions exist, it is advisable to conduct regular flash point inspections of the product to ensure operational safety. Furthermore, if the liquid emits smoke, it may indicate the presence of flammable conditions.
1. LM-15B must be used independently and should not be blended with other secondary refrigerants or heat transfer media. In case of special circumstances, please get in touch with our company promptly.
2. After verifying that there are no leakage points in the system, clean the system thoroughly and drain all water. Once the system is dry, add the glacier coolant solution to it as soon as possible.
3. It is recommended that the system be operated in a closed manner, with a nitrogen sealing device installed. This prevents moisture from entering the system during operation.
Storage and usable life
This product may degrade due to factors such as heat, light, acids, and alkalis. Therefore, it should be stored in a sealed container in a cool environment. When stored in the original unopened containers at a temperature of 25°C or below, the usable life of this product ranges from 30 to 60 months from the date of production, depending on its viscosity.
After-sale service and testing items
Relevant personnel will provide follow-up services during the product's usage period. They will regularly collect samples of the products used by customers and bring them back to the company for testing. The testing items are carried out in the company's low-temperature liquid heat transfer medium engineering laboratory, in accordance with the company's testing standards. The specific testing items are as follows:
1. Specific heat capacity test: To guarantee the cold-carrying capacity of the glacier coolant.
2. Thermal conductivity test: To ensure the thermal conductivity of the glacier coolant.
3. Low-temperature viscosity test: To maintain the working efficiency of the glacier coolant.
4. Boiling point and freezing point tests: To confirm that the operating temperature range of the glacier coolant meets the standard requirements.
5. High-temperature corrosion protection test: To verify the product's corrosion resistance under extreme conditions.
Test reports will be promptly fed back to customers. In the event of any problems, corresponding solutions and relevant technical service cooperation will be provided, ensuring customers receive 360-degree all-round after-sales service.
