Glacier Coolant LM-15C High Viscosity Polysiloxane Thermal Fluid -40°C to 200°C
Main parameters
Glacier Coolant LM-15C is insoluble in water, has low freezing point, high flash point, stable chemical properties, good hydrophobicity and long service life. It has almost no adverse effects on many materials represented by metals and is suitable for long-term use in the temperature range of -40℃~200℃. At 20 ℃, the density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and specific heat of Glacier Coolant LM-15C are 0.953 g/cm3, 21.71 cP, 0.1452 W/m·K and 1.7596 kJ/kg·K, respectively. The boiling point of Glacier Coolant LM-15C is high than 220℃, and the freezing point is less than -50℃. It is suitable for water sensitive anhydrous systems.

Usage Method
When exposed to high temperatures, LM-15C is prone to contamination by strong acids, strong bases, various metal compounds, and oxidants. These contaminants can speed up the production of volatile by-products, and oxidants may also result in higher product viscosity. If such conditions are possible, it is advisable to conduct regular flash point tests on the product to ensure safe operation. Moreover, if the liquid gives off smoke, there may be flammable conditions.
1. LM-15C must be used independently and should not be mixed with other secondary refrigerants or heat transfer media. In the case of special circumstances, please contact our company without delay.
2. After confirming that there are no leakage points in the system, clean the system thoroughly and drain all water. Once the system is dry, add the glacier coolant solution to it as soon as possible.
3. It is recommended that the system be operated in a closed manner, and a nitrogen sealing device should be installed to prevent moisture from entering the system during operation.
Storage and usable life
This product may go bad due to heat, light, acids, alkalis, and other factors, so it should be stored in a sealed container in a cool location. When stored in the original unopened containers at a temperature of 25°C or lower, the usable life of this product is 30 to 60 months from the date of production, depending on its viscosity.
After-sale service and testing items
Professional staff will provide follow-up services during the product's use. They will regularly collect samples of the products used by customers and bring them back to the company for testing. The testing items are carried out in the company's low-temperature liquid heat transfer medium engineering laboratory in accordance with the company's testing standards. The specific testing items are as follows:
1. Specific heat capacity test: To ensure the cold-carrying capacity of the glacier coolant.
2. Thermal conductivity test: To guarantee the thermal conductivity of the glacier coolant.
3. Low-temperature viscosity test: To maintain the working efficiency of the glacier coolant.
4. Boiling point and freezing point tests: To confirm that the operating temperature range of the glacier coolant meets the standard.
5. High-temperature corrosion protection test: To verify the product's corrosion resistance under extreme conditions.
Test reports will be promptly fed back to customers. If any problems arise, we will provide solutions and cooperate with relevant technical services to offer 360-degree all-round after-sales service to customers.
