Glacier Coolant LM-4ABG Modified Propylene Glycol Coolant -10°C To 101°C
Product Introduction
Glacier Coolant LM-4ABG is a ready-to-use industrial coolant based on propylene glycol (25% concentration) combined with a proprietary inhibitor solution and deionized water. This product is classified as non-hazardous under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), providing a safer alternative for industrial cooling applications.
LM-4ABG offers stable performance across a temperature range from ≤ -10°C to 101°C. It is easily soluble in water, with a pH range of 7.0–11.0 and a flash point ≥ 93°C, classified as combustible but not acutely toxic. The material is chemically stable under normal use and storage conditions, with no hazardous decomposition products beyond carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide under fire conditions.
Product Features
This coolant is compatible with standard industrial handling procedures. In case of spill, simple absorbent materials can be used for containment. Personal protective equipment such as chemical safety goggles, gloves, and protective clothing is recommended during handling. LM-4ABG should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse away from oxidants and acids.
LM-4ABG is suitable for use in industrial cooling systems where a lower-toxicity, propylene-glycol-based fluid is preferred. Its non-hazardous classification simplifies transport, storage, and disposal requirements while maintaining effective heat transfer and corrosion protection.
As part of Glacier Coolant’s commitment to advanced thermal management, LM-4ABG delivers a balanced solution for facilities prioritizing safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable cooling performance.
