Glacier Coolant LM-10C Modified Hydrocarbon Wide-Temperature Coolant -80°C To 190°C
Product Introduction
Glacier Coolant LM-10C is a high-performance heat transfer medium composed of modified hydrocarbons. It has excellent low-temperature fluidity and is widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, and other industrial fields.
LM-10C is a light-colored liquid suitable for heating and cooling across a wide temperature range from -80°C to 190°C, recommended for use in closed-cycle systems. Its density at 20°C is 0.76±0.02 g/cm³, average boiling point is 200°C, pour point is below -100°C, flash point is above 70°C, and kinematic viscosity at 40°C is 1.3 mm²/s.
The product features good low-temperature performance, a wide operating temperature range for both heating and cooling systems, NSF HT1 food-grade certification for systems that occasionally contact food, and near non-corrosiveness to metals.
LM-10C should be used alone and cannot be mixed with other coolants or heat transfer fluids. After confirming no leakage points, clean the system, drain water, and add the coolant as soon as possible after drying. It is only used in closed systems, and moisture must be prevented from entering during use. It shall not be directly used to heat or cool chemicals with oxidizing effects.
As part of Glacier Coolant's anti-rust and anti-corrosion expertise since 1994, the LM-10C series delivers a reliable, food-grade heat transfer solution for ultra-low-temperature industrial applications.
When a fluid swap or wrong concentration fails
Plants that swap in a different fluid without re-checking the model, or over-concentrate a charge, hand themselves a failure: one watched cooling collapse after switching fluids unverified, another couldn't even drive the pump because the concentration was too high. LM-10C removes that risk with a single, defined secondary-refrigerant formulation for closed low-temperature loops. Clean the system, drain the old charge, run LM-10C alone, and the loop is protected from the compatibility surprises mixed or mis-set batches create. Like LM-10B it's a water-free medium, so ice plugs don't appear as long as the circuit stays sealed and dry — one fluid, one predictable behavior, for the life of the system.
Use note: do not mix with other coolants or heat-transfer fluids; closed loop only; keep moisture out.
