Glacier Coolant LM-XR-32Y Organic Heat-Storage PCM Phase Change Temperature 32°C
Product Introduction
Glacier Coolant LM-XR-32Y is a high-performance organic phase change material composed of a primary phase change substrate, phase temperature modifier, thermal conductivity enhancer, and other functional additives. It achieves heat storage and release through solid-liquid phase transition.
LM-XR-32Y has a phase transition temperature of 32°C (freezing; melting 32±2°C) and a thermal storage density of ≥220 J/g. Its density at 20°C is 0.77±0.1 g/cm³, thermal conductivity at 25°C is 0.148 W/(m·K), and specific heat at 25°C is 2.27 J/(g·K). The boiling point is 330°C, ignition temperature is 230°C, and flash point is 171°C.
The product features excellent cycling stability, reusability, high efficiency, and environmental friendliness, with broad application prospects in building energy conservation, greenhouse thermal insulation, electronic equipment temperature control, intelligent temperature control, and other fields.
As part of Glacier Coolant's expertise in secondary refrigerant manufacturing since 1994, the LM-XR-32Y series delivers a reliable, high-density thermal storage solution for modern energy applications.
When a greenhouse swings 30 °C from day to night
Greenhouses, building envelopes and outdoor electronics swing hard around 30 °C — too warm by day, too cold at night — and operators pay for both heating and cooling they could avoid. That daily-band problem is exactly what phase-change thermal storage is built to flatten: in field use it banks daytime gain and releases it after dark. LM-XR-32Y stores ≥220 J/g at a 32 °C transition as that thermal flywheel, pulling the daily band toward flat. Its organic formulation is stable across repeated melt–freeze cycles, and with a 171 °C flash point and 330 °C boiling point it sits in the straightforward-handling range for greenhouse insulation, building mass and electronic enclosures alike.
