Glacier Coolant LM-4D-YE Modified Diol Low-Conductivity Coolant -35°C To 150°C
Product Introduction
Glacier Coolant LM-4D-YE is a professional industrial coolant designed for indirect cooling systems, transferring cooling capacity from refrigerant to cooled substances. Formulated with a modified diol solution and composed of organic corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants, antifoam agents, and deionized water, this product features low conductivity and is free of salt components such as silicon, phosphonates, and nitrite.
LM-4D-YE offers excellent corrosion protection performance for aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and other metals. It operates reliably from -35°C to 150°C when prepared to appropriate concentrations. At 40% concentration, the freezing point is -23.5℃ and boiling point is 105.5℃. Conductivity ranges from 440 to 820 µs/cm depending on concentration.
The coolant incorporates Glacier Coolant's proprietary Modify 2000 composite modification technology, offering strengthened specific heat and thermal conductivity, reduced viscosity, inhibited volatilization, sterilization and scale inhibition, and wide temperature range resistance.
The corrosion inhibitor package is composed of organic components such as pure natural organic acids and organic bases, free of salt substances. These organic components form stable coordination bonds with metals, creating a dense super corrosion protection film on the metal surface that avoids electrochemical corrosion caused by direct metal contact.
LM-4D-YE is compatible with non-metallic materials including PVC, fluororubber, latex, HDPE, natural rubber, PP, silica gel, and PTFE. It is widely used in chemical industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and cold storage.
As part of Glacier Coolant's 30 years of expertise in anti-rust and anti-corrosion solutions for industrial secondary refrigerants, the LM-4D-YE series delivers a safer, more efficient, and more reliable cooling solution.
